Casal's De Spa and Salon has partnered with our United Way for an all day fundraiser.  On Wednesday, September 29th, $1 from all hair services at the Canfield and Howland salons will be donated to the 2010 United Way Campaign. 

Donations will also be accepted from now through September 29th in a donation jar at the reception desk.

Our 13th annual Day of Caring, sponsored by Covelli Enterprises, was held on Friday, September 10, 2010.  Over 400 volunteers from 37 businesses completed projects at 30 local non-profit organizations.

Our second annual Stuff the Bus collection was a great success.  This year, we partnered with Huntington Bank to make the collection a four county effort in which back packs were distributed to children in need in Mahoning, Trumbull, Mercer and Columbiana counties.  Supplies were collected at Great Clips locations and were transported on school buses thanks to Transit Services. 

Our United Way would like to thank Knoll Run Golf Course, Austintown InfoCision, and the Mahoning County Retired Teachers Association for their collection of school supplies in addition to the four county effort.  Over 450 back packs stuffed with school supplies were given to children in need in the Mahoning Valley.
